A massive thank you to all our hosts and speakers in 2014. We ran a series of 6 events over the spring and summer, comprising talks, walks and a conference.
We are in the process of planning our events programme for 2015, so please get in touch with any ideas for events you’d like to see in the future. Events are free (unless otherwise stated below) for CBA East members and affiliated organisations. Non-CBA East members are welcome to attend for the small charge.
|11th April 10:30 am – 2pm||War Walk: The Defence Of Walberswick In 1940. A guided walk with Prof Robert Liddiard (UEA) tracing the line of the WWII defences and remains. A moderate walk of approx 4-5 miles stopping for pub lunch en-route (not included!).||Walberswick, Suffolk. Full details provided on booking.||Free for CBAE members, £5 for non-members|
|25th April 10 am – 5pm||Recording WWI remains in the East of England. A 1-day workshop hosted jointly with the CBA and English Heritage as part of the Home Front Legacy 1914-18 project.
