YAC in the East

The Young Archaeologists’ Club is a membership club for young people aged between eight and sixteen.  Members receive a membership pack, containing a membership card, certificate, badge and the Young Archaeologist quarterly magazine which is packed with archaeological news, competitions and practical activities.  The magazine also contains details of club activities including the Young Archaeologist of the Year Award, residential holidays, and our YAC Pass Scheme, which gives our members free access and special offers at over 120 sites and museums across the UK, as well as all sites in the care of Cadw, English Heritage, Historic Scotland and the Environment and Heritage Service.

In the East of England we are lucky enough to have eight active groups within our region,  below is a list of branches and an email contact.
